During this time, we will host Basic Training, Hands-on, and Q&A sessions through the Zoom video and web conferencing service. Budget Planning Training Sessions

For the annual budget planning process, we use the Budget Module within the SF State Planning Budgeting Cloud Service (SF_PBCS) for developing the budget. Our sessions are intended for our campus-partners to become familiar with the annual budget planning process and to review use of the Budget module in SF_PBCS.

Enrollment is listed above. we can also provide Q&A sessions to solve questions about basic of the system and also about the Budget Planning process. you will find the schedule of available Q&A sessions further down in this page.

Financial Review Training Sessions

CSU policy --- and sound business practices --- require the campus to perform timely, financial reviews to inform campus decision-makers of conditions affecting our campus budget and financial performance. Each Fiscal Year we will conduct periodic financial reviews, also known as financial oversight, typically in Fall, Winter and Spring.

For the seasonal financial review process, we use the Current Year Projection (CYP) Module within the SF State Planning Budgeting Cloud Service (SF_PBCS). Our sessions are intended for our campus-partners to become familiar with the financial review process and to review use of the CYP module in SF_PBCS.

Q&A Sessions

Meet with our team for an interactive question and answer session. This is an opportunity to get assistance with any challenges you are facing in the SF_PBCS system. All Q&A sessions to be hosted through the Zoom web conferencing service. Details for joining Zoom sessions are provided below. 

We provide Q&A sessions during the annual budget planning period and the seasonal financial review periods. Sessions will be posted during Budget Planning and the seasonal financial review periods.

Hands-on Sessions

As we conducted our Basic Training Sessions for SF_PBCS we saw a need to enhance the knowledge transfer through more direct experience with the SF_PBCS functions. Users can experiment with the functions in the TEST environment within SF_PBCS. As part of the Budget Planning Training Sessions refresher course above, users work through examples of typical budgets and reports. We guide attendees through examples, and allow the attendees to work the remainder of the time at their own pace. We are there to answer any questions. All sessions to be hosted through the Zoom web conferencing service. Details for joining Zoom sessions will be by request.
